This listing does not include the finished product, just the pattern to be able to make it yourself.

Some time ago, I envisioned creating a Fisherman's Rib shawl, and I finally dedicated the time to bring that idea to life. I loved it so much and I that I was was encouraged to write down the process and share it.

This simple and repetitive pattern is easy to remember and you can use any number of colours or any yarn weight too. This pattern is written for 4ply / Sock yarn, however you could use a thicker weight yarn for a more chunky but squishy shawl. I would recommend using a 4.5mm needle for a DK weight.

•    Approx. of 1200 meters of 4ply or sock yarn for a decent sized shawl.
•    3.75mm needles (or size needed for gauge)
•    Progress keeper to mark the front of your work
•    Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
•    Scissors
•    your preferred blocking equipment

You may not reprint, resell or claim this pattern as your own, this is property of Blue Fern Yarns. In the countries where you need my permission to make and sell the socks from my pattern, I give it freely.

This is a digital download and you will receive a link to download your pattern following payment of your order.

Yarn Bases

Are you feeling a bit perplexed by the world of yarns and fibers? You're not alone! When I first began working with yarn, I was lost when it came to selecting the right type of yarn base for my projects. To assist you in your journey, I've compiled a list of the yarns we dye here at Blue Fern Yarns.

Care Information

To preserve its quality, we recommend hand washing with your preferred wool wash in cool water. Some slight colour bleeding may occur during the initial wash, which is normal

Useful Information

Please note that each skein of yarn is hand-dyed, resulting in unique variations between them. We suggest alternating skeins throughout your project to create a more uniform look. If you purchase multiple skeins of the same colourway, they will be from the same dye-lot unless otherwise specified. We take great care to ensure consistency between dye-lots, but as with all hand-dyed yarn, some variations may occur.
