Inspired by the mesmerizing ripples that waves form in the sand, this gorgeous sock pattern evokes memories of walking along the beach. Additionally, the pattern provides a suggested heel flap, turn, and gusset. However, the back of the sock is stocking stitch, making it an excellent choice for an afterthought heel.

Sizes S (M, L) To fit mid-foot circumference: about 8 / 8.5 / 9.5 inches (20 / 21.5 / 24 cm)
Stitches  60 (64, 72)
Yarn

100g of any sock yarn should work as long as you get the gauge noted. I used approx. 60g, approx. 225 meters or 246 yards, making size M which is a UK ladies’ size 6.

I used Blue Fern Yarns dyed in the colourway Sand.

Care Information

To preserve its quality, we recommend hand washing with your preferred wool wash in cool water. Some slight colour bleeding may occur during the initial wash, which is normal

Useful Information

Please note that each skein of yarn is hand-dyed, resulting in unique variations between them. We suggest alternating skeins throughout your project to create a more uniform look. If you purchase multiple skeins of the same colourway, they will be from the same dye-lot unless otherwise specified. We take great care to ensure consistency between dye-lots, but as with all hand-dyed yarn, some variations may occur.
